We are also working to bring the traffickers to justice. Bribery and corruption are still evident in Thailand, although we commend the Government in its efforts to change the situation.

We have tracked predators in the past and continue to do so.  However, this sort of work is resource-intensive and due to corruption there are no guaranteed outcomes.  Therefore we have reduced our involvement in this area and only actively pursue it when we receive very good intelligence.  Our information is kept on the secure Grey Man database and relevant information has been passed on to the authorities.  We continue to make connections within the Thai police force and other government organisations. Our plan is to make northern Thailand a no-go area for paedophiles over the next five years.

Over the past year we have increasingly run operations in conjunction with the Thai police.  This has led to the arrest of 15 traffickers and a number of pimps.  We expect our arrest rate to increse significantly through 2009 and our ongoing involvement with the Thai police should be an enduring relationship.  We have found them a great ally in the fight against child trafficking.  You can find out more about recent operations on the new Grey Man blog

To protect current operations and to prevent the circumvention of our future plans details must remain limited.  However, you can make a contribution to our efforts with the donation of money or surveillance equipment.
