'The West Australian' Newspaper reports on The Grey Man activities and the opening of a new branch in Perth WA.
An anti-child sex trafficking charity, which has rescued three under-age girls from a Thai brothel catering for Western tourists, is bringing its mission to Perth. It plans to recruit more volunteers here to help stop the sexual exploitation and trafficking of children in South-East Asia.
A WA woman was among 10 workers from Australian organisation The Grey Man who raided the brothel with Thai police in Ban Chang last week and saved the girls, two of whom were aged 15 and one was thought to be even younger.
The bust came after months of covert surveillance and evidence-gathering by the charity, which revealed there were 10 underage girls working in brothels along the street in the small Thai town.
